Weekends was good.
Caught Resident Evil-Afterlife with Dar on Friday night. It's has been quite sometimes for us to watch midnight show. Ended 1am and walked home from Vivo. The feeling is good.

Went Bugis on Saturday. Had snacks at I ♥ taimei and dar bought himself a Seiko watch and that end our day as dar had a wedding dinner at night.

Sunday was quite a fruitful day I think cos went quite a number of place.
Meet dar at Chinatown to get some stuffs. Head back home to put the stuffs and then went to Queensway and Ikea. Dar bought a 4 pcs mirrors. Finally, there is a full length mirror in his home :) Rest awhile and we went swimming at Safra Mount Faber. Ended our day watching online show. :)

Meet up with Best Friend and Ailing(Irene) at Jurong Point on Sunday.
Both of them were my childhood friends and we are still keeping in touch *happy*
Had great time catching up with them =D

Have been thinking of taking up Korean language course.. Finally there's someone going to learn with me! My BFF =D
Only thing now is the available day & date.
Planning to learn at community centre cos cheaper la. Both of us only can make it on Sunday. Checking thru the web and the nearest CC is at Woodlands..
Learning at CC is cheap but noticed there is no certificate issue de..gotta check with best friend again..

It was her last day last Thursday. Supposed to end last month July with the rest of the temps but she extended her stay. Gonna miss her lots.

Everyone has eat Green Bean soup before. How about Green Mung Bean with Barley Dessert?
I had this dessert every time after I went for my massage at The Ultimate.

I used to dislike "beans".. Especially Green bean and Red bean.. Every time my aunt will force me to drink whenever she cooked. I realized I being to Like Green Bean soup nowadays. Tried cooking the dessert myself today with Barley.

Both Green Mung Beans and Barley are very good for complexion :) Barley to help to reduces water retention too.

So what is the benefit of Green Beans (also know as Mung Beans) and Barley?

Mung beans are a rich source of vitamin B, C, E and K. Folate or folic acid, present in mung beans, helps in the formation of red blood cells. It also helps in reducing the chances of heart diseases, ensures normal growth of cells and assists in protein metabolism. Went Bugis Shopping with Dar today..
Bought a white tube, blouse, short & a hairclip all at Bugis village
only spent $33..

Had snacks at this place called 我爱台妹. A Taiwan steet-style food & snacks
The menu names are so cute..
The combo comes with 1 main dish, 1 $2 snack & 1 $2 drink
Different combo had different names.. I ordered combo 3, Hebe!
Lemon Crispy Chicken with shaked fries with curry flavour and a milk tea with aloe vera and QQ jelly.

And a additional side dish, french beans.

Thumbs up for the food! Yummy =D I love it.. Chicken is tender and not hard and the Milk Tea is nice too.. I love it cos they do have sugar level to choose from. Just like KOI.

Sis tried the level 3 wings and the spicy is acceptable
and she bought the level 10 spicy wings for us to try cos my brother in law also want to try

My daddy can eat really spicy food but When he said it is spicy means to me it will be super duper spicy.. I tried.. SUPER HOT & SPICY!

I managed to finish one and that it.

It was stated that anyone who finishes at least one wing of Level 30 or 35 spiciness will have his/her name on its wall of fame and receive a certificate.

I wonder how people can consume way up to that level...

Got my hair cut already.. almost all the curls are gone left with bit bit only. love my hair with little curls though have to use hairdryer to blow to achieve the curls below.. Natural is nice too :)

This week is a short week for me!! Will start my long weekend from Thursday onwards =D
Dar had came out with the itinerary from Thursday till Monday.. LOL.
Will surely have a fruitful long weekend. *happy*

Just hope I dont fall sick again cos am feeling kinda weak. Cough and flu is everywhere now.

Back home at abt 9.30pm.. with the super tired body and mind.
That feeling just makes me wanna faster bath, eat and rest..
Suddenly noticed the bathroom door was closed.. was wondering why when Dad and Aunt are all outside..

Guess what happen when I on the light and push open the door...

One huge cockroach inside to toilet and scare the hell of me!
Shouting for daddy to help me catch the bloody cockroach but daddy just ignore me and busy playing his game. -_-" WTH

Asking Aunt where is the baygon and she goes "huh"... Super angry. Arrghh

And I began my mini tantrum...
Slamming the door here and there and have to go buy it myself.

Back from minimart with the big bottle of Baygone and noticed someone cleared it for me already.. Dont understand why i need to throw my tantrum then they will help me to get rid of it. This is not the first time also. =(

Thought everything is over and I went back to bedroom to change the bedsheets before going bath. Just about I stepped into the bathroom and I saw this...

WTH right... wao lao... where got people do things do half way... leaving down the dead pest for me to clear!!! In the end, I have to spent 20-30min to clear the dead cockroach by washing it down the "drain" pipe, washed and scrub the toilet with Dettol. :(

Envy those people who got parents to help them to get rid of "ka ka".....

Meet up with the ladies after work on Thursday

Had Steamboat at Zhong Hua. Starbuck for a drink and chit chat all the way still one plus am from starbuck till MacDonald before heading home. Miss them so much as the last time we meet for before Christmas last year.

Watched Shrek Forever After on Friday with Dar, Zihao & friend.

Somehow, I feel they just want a "The End" for shrek cos the movie ended a bit too fast. But, still a Funny movie and happily ever after adventure. Dinner with dar at Cafe Cartel before we end the day.

Went Beach Road yesterday with dar and didi to get some stuffs for didi's enlistment.
Went shopping at Orchard with Dat after that.

Dar bought a basic 3 step skincare for himself. I bought myself a make up base in purple. All from Biotherm.

Facial Cleanser, Pore--Retightening Lotion and a moisturizer gel for dar's oily face.

Apparently , the plastic "blade spinner" breaks when the fan is still in "on" mode and hit him on the side of the face. The weird thing is the right side faced the fan but the broken "blade" hit his left side of the face...

Watson had this promotion last weekend for watsons members.
Double points earning. For every $5 you spent, you will earn 2 points instead of the usual 1 points.

Bought DR. Wu whitening series and Liese Designing Jelly hair products.
I would said DR. Wu is a great buy.

It's contains one intensive whitening serum (30ml), 3pcs of masks, 1 mini lotion (10ml) and one toner (15m).All in one box cost $95.90.

The serum itself cost $69.90 and the masks cost $39.90. It's already $14.30 differences for these two alone. The serum is highly recommended in Barbie Hsu's book.

Tried out the mask. It composed of 3 layers of which the middle one is the active mircolnject mask. Discard the plastic layer and positioning the middle layer onto face. peel off the blue layer and wait for 10-15mins. I realized the blue layer does contains the essence. So, i used it to apply my legs. (n_n) I would said the mask is easy to apply to face and it is very thin till you can see the skin.

For the Liese Designing Jelly, No sticky wax feeling or stiff gel look is their tag line.

Tried out and it really does not have the stiff gel look and it's easy to apply. However, I still find it a little sticky on my palm after applying.

bought a pair of lower eyelashes by Tsubasa Masuwaka today called Dolly Wink along with the eyelash fix glue. Launched in Jan at Ngee Ann City Taka Watsons outlet. Expensive...hence only bought one type. Actually wanna buy one set of super lashes as well but the type that I want is out of stock. A set of lashes priced at $23.90 and the eyelash fix at $16.90.

The beauty Hair volumizer looks very good.. saw it in 女人我最大, Queens used by 小曼老师. It was stated that the liquid formula doesn't clog pores and is resistant to sweat and sebum. Most importantly, it doesn't form white flakes as powder volumizer does. Also, due to the humid climate in asia, the powder formula doesn't stay on as long as it should as compared to the drier climate in Europe, where the product was created. Can be used on both dry and wet hair.

DR. WU Acnecur Gel Cleanser

Have tried DR. Wu Basic Skin care series, Hydrating Cleansing Gel previously. Like it alot cos it does not irritate my skin and leaves the skin clean and moist. However, $39.90 is consider abit expensive for a cleanser. Decided to buy their Acnecur series cos recommended by Xiao Ai. Hope this will clear my blemishes and reduce the marks on my face. Recently dont know what happen, outbreak alot on face. *sad* cannot "mei mei" for CNY already.

Cleansing Express Lotion (AGECARE) with Q10

The Cleansing Express Lotion is also nice. I'm using their cleansing express serum now. It's a 3 in 1 lotion. Can be use to removes make-up, cleanses and Moisturizer. Usually I used it to remove make-up on face (light make-up) before using cleansing Gel. The one I bought now is contain Q10 and soy isoflavone (moisture retentive ingredients). Hypoallerginic formulation suitable for sensitive skin.

OLAY Regenerist Cream

It was mentioned in 女人我最大 that it is one of the best seller in year 2009. Helps Hydrates skin, firm apperance of sagging-prone areas like around the eyes, jaw lines and neck. Also reduce apperances of lines and wrinkles keeping skin's suppleness and elasticity.

Lastly, the Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes palettes in GR780. Just like the green tones.. (n_n)

Didnt go anywhere on the eve of New year. Meet dar at PS after work, had dessert at Ice Monster, walked around and headed home.

Nua at dar's place watching SCV Taiwan countdown.. was think going to vivo but too lazy. about 11pm, we decided to go Vivo.. as usual, human traffic there. Everyone heading to the top to watch the firework from siloso beach. We went long john to buy some food and find a place to settle down at level 2 outside. The security are quite good over there, only one way leading to the top level cos vivo has many way to go to the top level. cant really see the fireworks from vivo anyway only a little bit. Home sweet home after that. That's how I spent my countdown.

Went bugis for dinner yesterday. We just had steamboat just last week and i miss steamboat again.. wanna eat 中华火锅.拉面 at Liang seah street but too many people already. In the end we settled down at 鲜得来. abit expensive to me but take into the account that no need to walk here and there to take food then still ok. Just need to take order with the menu they provided.

辣子鸡荡 for me and 排骨荡 for dar

love the 辣子鸡 so much. Personally i still prefer the 辣子鸡 from 辣妹子 steamboat. more spicy and free serving till finish while 鲜得来 one is come with it when you order the 辣子鸡 soupbase.

Meet up with Jasmine and Niki yesterday for dinner. Happy to catch up with them. :)

2009 is almost coming to an end... stepping into 2010 in another 1 day 25 hours.

2009 is a hectic year for me at work.
Imagine reaching office at 8.30am (8am every monday) and going home after 8pm when actual office hours starts from 9am-6.30pm. Been into 12hours working life almost 3/4 of the year.

Love life still a smooth and loving one :)

In year 2009, i want to...
earn more money - achieved
save more money - achieved but also spent alot
be more patience - mm.... better i think
stay healthy and dun put on more weight - weight under control :)
learn to control dont flare anger so often at dar - achieved (I believed I did control my temper la)
and lastly
hopefully things will get better at work - haiz..... -_-"

took a cab to and from office.. heart pain.. total cab fare $31.80!

just lazy.. too much to type if i'm going back track so I'm noy going to blog anything before today.

Dar is down with fever and was suspected H1N1.. given 3days MC. Hopefully the fever will subside by Friday..

on leaves for two days, yesterday and today. Meet up with Evelyn and Eileen today :) no picture la cos daddy went overseas and borrowed the camera. Had dinner at Watami... went Mango sales after dinner. already bought 3 tops from the sales before meet them so only accompanied them.

Back to work tomorrow.. kind of sianz cos been leaving office very late nowadays.. dont like this kind of working hours. =( I hope I can leave office by 7pm everyday.. when will that day come?

Went library to borrow books during lunch time today.. wanna borrow "change of heart" by Jodi Picoult, the autor of My Sister's Keeper.. but not available yet cos ppl just returned the books and cant borrow at the point of time.. the reception staff insisted that ALL books MUST be placed back at the selves first before we can borrow.. NO Exception allow... -_-" Nah... what logic is this?

In the end, I borrowed another book by the same autor, Second Glance.. Hopefully I can finish the novel before due date...

I, Alfie Blogging. A surprising Friday when Celeste gave me her self made present.
I weren't expecting anything because I thought the wallet she bought is already my birthday present. Quite a unforgettable moment...

We just finish watching the Sister's Keeper. I heard the review was bad, but it turned out touching throughout the whole movie. Though it's not any action movies , I had been waiting to know what will come out next of the story because the movie started off with the daughter got Cancer. I was wondering what more they can show before she leave the family... wonderful movie..
Celeste cried for the whole show. The actors were really fantastic... it seem like a real life incident.
Therefore I recommend this show for everyone.

Dar brings me to Swensen's for Ice-Cream buffet.. Other than ice-creams, they also have sorbets and gelatos.

Overs 50 flavors and 40 topping/sauces to choose from, chocolate fondues, waffles and cakes. you can really eat as much as you can. However, I am not a fan of ice-creams.. Hence only had 2 time serving of gelato with waffles.

Bought a portable Hard disk from comex. =D

caught G-Force with Dar at Jurong Point yesterday

Interesting movie. A specially trained team of guinea pigs, a mole and a fly armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment and taking on a mission to stop a diabolical billionaire, who plans to taking over the world with household appliances.
Sefinitely a great movie for families and the little children..

I would give the review 5/5 popcorns.

Currently only available at carrefour I think cos cant find it at watsons and guardian pharmacy.

Highly recommended by NRWZD 女人我最大, 牛爾老師.

I have always been using cleansing oil so bought two for myself... $17.20 each.
imagine transforming cleansing oil into cleansing mousse?

Tried it earlier.. it really can be used dry/wet and do not feel oilyness on the face at all.

The concert is really worth every dollars and cents!

Though didnt have the chance to be one of the lucky person to take pic with them but happy that they sing still past midnight.. just the 1st day of the concert.. (n_n)

meet up with the rest and get ready to set off to Tanjung Balai.
7.20am - Assemble at Harbour Front Center for our departure ferry to Tanjung Balai

After one hour plus, we finally reached Tanjung Balai

Have not been eating this for a very very long time.. keke..
banned in singapore already.. due to a pig virus in year 1999.

Our hotel stay @ Maximillian.. forgot to the pic of the room.
There is a wide variety of rooms to choose from, S$28 studio rooms to >S$100 suites.
The room is clean and have quite a nice view.. (we stayed at level6). Some rooms on the lower floors from the old wing do not have any views due to it being blocked by a building next door(bird nest factory.

There is a hair salon on the ground floor. On the 2nd floor there is a spa and massage centre. On the 7th floor, there is a cafe/KTV lounge.

After a short rest in hotel, we visited the "Air Terjun" (waterfall in Indonesian).

Had some Kerupuk and coconut drink before we start walk up the journey to see the "Air Terjun"

Tada! Reached already.

You can bath in the man-made pools built to capture the water flowing from the mountain. We walked further up the mountain to take a look. The water indeed is very cold and refreshing.

Went for hair wash after that. Darn cheap. only RP25,000 per person appx S$4.00. With massage too. Definitely worth it.

Kim and suharni had pedicure there.. appx $15.00.

Back to hotel for check out and had massage at level 2. There is a cold and hot pool plus a steam sauna. But the cold and hot pool only applicable for the guys. We had full body massage and scrub for two and half hours which only cost RP180,000 appx S$27.00.

Had Our late lunch before going back to Singapore.

Overall, a relaxing place to go. Ate alot during the trip.

Thanks to Suharni, his hubby and family being such a good host and tour-guide. ;)
Thanks to Terry too, the driver for the whole morning and afternoon. (n_n)

Finally caught UP. Been waiting for this movie since April. I still remember i told dar i wanna watch this movie the day we went celebrate didi's belated bday.

8.59am and i'm here blogging..
Am enjoying my first day leave from today onwards. =D

not planning to go anywhere.. just slack; rest and relax. :)

Here are the updates from last weekend

was packing my cupboard on saturday..it's really in a mess..
see the before and after.. though still alot of things but at least now is neater

Went for spa massage appointment with dar on Sunday @ The ultimate

Enjoyed the full body massage and steam bath =D

Ending with a nice dessert served

Went visit grandma as we are just around that area
My youngest little cousin.. so cute with that small eyes

Head down to the newly opened Orchard Central.
Shopped around there and had dessert at Heaven's Loft @ Level 8. The whole set up of the place makes you wanna take a 2nd look at it.

Actually wanna settle down there for early dinner as we did not had our lunch.. but their main course only served from 6pm onwards.. however, they do served pizzas and pastas. We decided to just order a dessert after taking a look at the main menu.. The food is quite pricey and i think is overpriced ..

dessert and a fruit punch cost $24.48 including service chagres and GST. Lucky the dessert is nice but i must say here again, it's abit overpriced. =(

After a few of hours wondering through Orchard Central level by level, we came by this dessert placed called "fruit paradise", a fruit tart shop. The tarts are all made from real fuits and topped with full of fruits. At that very moment, i regretted for having the over-priced dessert at Heavean's Loft. =(

The tarts just looks awefully good!! forgot to take pic of the displayed tarts..Told dar we must come here again to try the tarts.

End up, we had our dinner at Shokudo at the Heeren..Total bill still cheaper then the dessert..

Next, my confirmed plan for these 10days leaves enjoyment.

woahooo.. first time leaving office at 7pm ever since job rotation. Super happy that day. Went dinner at Orchard Lucky Plaza with my two philippines colleagues, Lynn and Luisa.

Dinner at JoLogs located at #04-03. Their food is a little saltier..

Thought can bring dar or my friends to try next time.. but they does not have a menu. All was written in a blackboard plus I dont know how to pronounce the dishes name.. sad. Maybe can order back the same dishes that i have tried??

Random in office with my favourite KOI drinks. Hearts their drinks.. Like it with 0% sugar.

Today.
appointment with my manicurist. Did my pedicure.

Dar didnt tagged alone so my habit come again.. went Daiso.. spent $14.00. Had my eyebrows trimmed while waiting for dar for lunch and then back dar's place to slack till evening time before going back home. Meet best friend for dinner and at the same time passed her the money for the stuffs that she need to buy for me in taiwan. bought things at watsons.. $1.95 each. buy 10 get 1 free.

Oh ya.. received the parcel for my online spree. Thanks Didi for helping me to collect. (n_n)
